Custom Tank

Southern Tank has been supplying farmers in the central states with small farm tanks since 1937. Our foundation was built on providing the family farm with a wide variety of farm tanks, and we are proud to continue doing so today. Typical non-regulated farm tanks are 300, 550 and 1100 gallons, with support options of skids, flat non roll bars or elevated stands (for 550 gallons and under). Or we can custom build a tank to suit your needs whether it’s a stationary tank or a utility tank for your truck. Southern Tank has several standard sizes and styles of utility tanks for your truck, rectangular or L-shape, and in single or multi compartments. In some states farm tanks 1100 gallons and under are basically “unregulated” and do not require secondary containment or UL 142 labels. Be sure to check your local ordinances and SPCC rules for total capacity limits.

For farms requiring code compliance, Southern Tank can provide your farming operation with fuel storage from 25 gallons to 30,000 gallons in a wide variety of configurations and secondary containment options (See Horizontal Steel Tanks or Vertical Steel Tanks). We can compartmentalize your farm tank to your specifications for your on-road and off-road diesels. If you have lube oils you use in bulk, we can provide you with many options for storage whether it’s rectangular or cylindrical.

Need storage for your chemicals and fertilizer? Southern Tank can build you a stainless steel or a carbon steel tank with custom interior linings compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and fertilizers.
